Colonial National Mortgage, Fort Worth, Texas, has reported that it has expanded to Arizona with the opening of a new office in Phoenix.
Jim Burns, who has produced $76 million annually in residential mortgages in the past, has been named manager of the new branch. He previously worked as an originator in Phoenix for First Horizon.
In a statement released by the Colonial National Mortgage, vice president of national retail operations Mark Dennis said that among the reasons why the company considers Phoenix an attractive market is the fact that Chamber of Commerce reports show it is the second fastest growing city in America.
