LANCASTER, Pa. -- Roda & Nast, P.C. today issued the following:
A Pennsylvania court has granted national class action status in a lawsuit challenging the use of certain replacement parts that Erie Insurance Company has specified for the repair of its policyholders' vehicles. As many as 500,000 car owners may be part of the class.
The class certification was granted in an opinion written by Judge John W. Herron, of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, in the class action case of Foultz v. Erie Insurance Exchange and Erie Insurance Company.
