Mar. 21--ARVIDA REALTY UNIT POSTS PROFIT: Arvida Realty Services' Northwest Florida division posted $221.8 million in gross sales for 2001, a 6.9 percent increase over the prior year.
The number of transactions increased 17.2 percent to 1,882, the company announced.
The Northwest Florida region includes eight offices on the coast and in Tallahassee.
The average sales price of real property handled by the company in Northwest Florida in 2001 was $118,000. The number of listings secured was down slightly to 1,344 from 1,387 a year ago.
