BY the third week of March, the school year will be over. The last week - Holy Week - ushers in a two-month vacation for students across the land.
One can spend this and Holy Week meaningfully and fruitfully. The Department of Tourism (DoT) has lined up a series of touristrelated activities which could enliven one's spending of his vacation while simultaneously observing Holy Week.
Almost every place in our country holds unique Holy Week rites, especially the reenactment of Christ's passion, death and resurrection. The "Moriones,'' "Penitencia,'' "Senakulo,'' and "Visita Iglesia'' are regular Holy Week activities that are held in almost every community ...
