LEXINGTON, KY. _ Most Kent State fans will remember how their team won this year, how they went to the NCAA Elite Eight, how they dominated the Mid-American Conference, how they had a 30-6 record.
But I'll always remember how they lost.
I'll remember how the Golden Flashes were as dignified and as classy in defeat as victory. I'll remember how they didn't lash out at officials, at each other. I'll remember how Coach Stan Heath lined up his players after the 81-69 loss to Indiana and made sure they shook hands and congratulated the winners.
