A recent survey conducted by internet security testing specialists NTA Monitor, revealed that there has been a 45 per cent increase in firewall vulnerabilities within Blue-chip companies since 1998.
A key reason for this increase in vulnerabilities is the wider take-up of firewalls in recent years by organisations with limited experience in the implementation of IT security.
