NEWTON, Iowa -- The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Energy (DOE) have named Maytag Appliances as an ENERGY STAR(R) Partner of the Year for its commitment to making and selling energy-efficient products that save consumers money on energy and water bills. Maytag will be recognized at a special 10th Anniversary awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on March 26, 2002.
