HEART disease is the UK's single biggest killer - claiming nearly 125,000 lives a year.
One-in-four men and one-in-six women will die prematurely because of heart disease.
And around 2.6 million people in Britain have heart problems - with that figure set to rise in the future.
Recent figures from the British Heart Foundation show that the number of deaths from heart disease has plummeted in the UK.
