MELBOURNE, March 26 Asia Pulse - Tempo Services Ltd (ASX:TEM) has re-signed a $A60 million ($US31.35 million) five-year deal with Telstra Ltd (ASX:TLS) for cleaning and maintenance services at sites throughout the country, as well as securing several other major contracts, the company announced today.
Tempo, which is also the preferred security contractor for telco giant Telstra, said the combined Telstra contracts were expected to have a life value of US$100 million.
Tempo chief financial officer Mal Day said the Telstra cleaning contract was worth about US$12 million a year or US$60 million over the five-year term.
