House lawmakers this week will take their first crack at a plan to restrict how cities can use photo radar.
The House Transportation and Energy Committee is slated to give HB 1400 - sponsored by by House Speaker Doug Dean, R-Colorado Springs - a hearing Wednesday afternoon.
With 40 people already signed on as co-sponors in the House and high-ranking Senate President Pro Tem Ed Perlmutter, D-Jefferson County, as his Senate sponsor, Dean says he's optimistic.
