Bob remained loyal throughout.
Bob Goin, that is. The University of Cincinnati's doting athletic director was there for Bob Huggins throughout the past week, never wavering in his charge to keep UC's head basketball coach cemented on that lofty perch.
Goin's loyalty is a primary reason, if not the main one, why Bob Huggins remained loyal to UC, why he spurned an offer on Monday to become the head coach at his beloved alma mater, West Virginia.
''I certainly spent a lot of time telling him that I loved him,'' Goin said.
