Eleni Eleopulos, an expert on cell oxidation at Royal Perth Hospital in Western Australia, and colleagues have been studying HIV and AIDS since 1984. In his article "AIDS: Is Anyone Positive?", British medical science journalist Neville Hodgkinson states that the Perth group has long challenged the generally-accepted belief that HIV causes AIDS. Like Peter Duesberg and other scientists, the Perth Group says that the basic "checks" needed to prove that a virus (specifically HIV) causes AIDS have never been completed.
