With the beginning of the new year, Blue Poppy enterprises, inc. celebrates its 20th year in business. Boulder acupuncturists Bob Flaws and Honora Wolfe began Blue Poppy Press in 1982 out of their tiny two room apartment by printing spiral-bound books on Chinese medicine at Kinko's, one at a time. Twenty years later, Blue Poppy is the largest English language publisher of books on acupuncture and Chinese medicine in the world with an approximately 10% market share within its niche.
