Mar. 28--U.S. Rep. Mark Souder, R-4th District, pulled out all the stops and attracted a healthy crowd at an agricultural town hall meeting at the Grabill South Park Pavilion on Wednesday.
The question-and-answer session in Souder's hometown featured a guest most farmers would thrill to grill: U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Ann M. Veneman. The 120 or more farmers and agribusiness and trade association officials in the audience ran out of time with Veneman and Souder before they ran out of questions.
