MISSOULA, MT--A lesbian couple and their three-year-old son narrowly escaped with their lives when a fire was set in their home on February 8 at approximately 3 a.m. Apparently, someone broke into their house and, using a flammable liquid, lit a fire which burned their entire house. They escaped without injury, but lost their home and all their belongings.
The fire comes on the heels of a lawsuit which had been filed by the American Civil Liberties Union on their behalf against the Montana University System and the State of Montana for denying them domestic partner insurance and other benefits. Since the ...
