DALLAS -- AMRESCO Capital Trust (BULLETIN BOARD: AMCT) reported today that net assets in liquidation decreased by $1.6 million (or $0.16 per share) during the quarter ended December 31, 2001. As previously communicated, the company has been liquidating its assets under a plan of liquidation and dissolution; shareholders approved the liquidation and dissolution of the company on September 26, 2000. As of December 31, 2001, net assets in liquidation totaled $15.6 million (or $1.55 per share), down from $17.2 million (or $1.71 per share) at September 30, 2001.
