ATLANTA _ Last summer, Oklahoma coach Kelvin Sampson predicted junior guard Hollis Price would bounce back from a severed triceps tendon in his right arm and become the undisputed leader of the Sooners' basketball team.
Heading into the Final Four this weekend at the Georgia Dome, Price has fulfilled Sampson's prediction and then some.
At OU, Sampson always has built his team around one player. First, it was Ryan Minor. Then it was Nate Erdmann, followed by Corey Brewer and Eduardo Najera. Last season it was Nolan Johnson after J.R. Raymond was kicked off the team.
