SHE had always been there for her family and the nation alike...steadfast, dutiful, an unchanging figurehead in a turbulently changing world.
The public always voted the Queen Mother as their best-loved Royal, and not surprisingly.
None of them could recall, or possibly imagine, the Royals without her. She grew old, of course, but with dignity. She became frail, but never weak. That indomitable spirit, matched with an easy, eye-twinkling charm, stayed with her until the end.
