IRVINE, Calif. -- Broadcom Corporation , the leading provider of integrated circuits enabling broadband communications, today announced that seven more Broadcom-powered cable modems received certification from CableLabs(R) for the recently completed Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS(TM)) 1.1 testing and certification wave. Included among the newly certified cable modems were two Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) residential gateway cable modems that use the advanced Broadcom(R) BCM3351 single-chip VoIP residential gateway cable modem integrated circuit.
