1. How can media contribute to the stigma often attached to mental illness in our society? (Media portray people with mental illness as having humorous idiosyncrasies, or being frightening, unattractive, or violent. These representations can cause others to misjudge them, and may contribute to a mentally ill person's failure to seek help because they do not want to be considered an outcast.)
2. What resources exist in your school community to turn to if you or someone you know is showing signs of a mental illness? (school nurse, school-based doctor or clinic, school psychologist, guidance counselor, administrator, coach, etc.)
