Article: Board streamlines ad appeals.

The Bar Board of Governors has ratified a streamlined process for handling advertising appeals and reiterated that it wants the authority -- expected to be rarely used -- to directly issue ethics advisory opinions.

The Board Review Committee on Professional Ethics had brought a proposal' to the board at its February 1 meeting that would allow the board to request an opinion from the Professional Ethic's Committee or the BRCPE, which the board could then review and modify.
