Apr. 4--Gov. Mike Huckabee and Clark County officials said Wednesday that Goodrich Corp., a Charlotte, N.C.-based aerospace manufacturer, has decided not to close its plant near Arkadelphia, and will instead add jobs.
The company in December said it would close the plant just south of Arkadelphia and lay off about 180 employees.
"We're now going to see the employment increase eventually to 250 jobs" or more, Huckabee said at a news conference.
