Apr. 4--VANCOUVER, Wash.-- Clark County commuters would love to stay on the Washington side of the Columbia River, but many fear the jobs aren't there, according to a survey released Wednesday.
"There is a perception that there are more jobs in Oregon, that those jobs are better paying, and if I am going to grow with my company, I'd better be in Oregon," said Michael J. Riley, president of Riley Research Associates, which conducted the survey.
The survey of 400 commuters was conducted in late February and early March for Columbia River Economic Development. ...
