Romika GmbH is stepping onto a new court. The German comfort brand, through a licensing agreement with Kennelback, Austria-based Head Sport AG -- maker of sports equipment and apparel under the Head, Penn, Tyrolia and Mares and Decor labels -- will launch in June a collection of racket-sport footwear under the Head label.
According to Gary Wakley, vice president of the new Head Footwear division of Romika USA, Miami, and vice president of marketing for Romika, Head turned the footwear reins over to Romika in order to concentrate on its hard-goods business.
