Since APR's last Kuala Lumpur round-up in January 1999, the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur has seen several major developments in its different rail systems. Projects that had been seriously delayed due to the Asia's economic downturn in the late 1990s are now -- aided by Government funding and loans -- experiencing rapid recovery and development.
