Future Publishing has won the contract to publish the monthly title, Microsoft Windows XP: The Official Magazine, the only Windows publication officially licensed by Microsoft.

Future says the magazine will be its largest computing launch for three years. It will be backed by a promotional spend of 750,000 [pounds sterling], including point-of-sale promotions, covermounts and packaging.

The deal follows the officially licensed Microsoft Windows XP one-shots that Future has published.
