DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP COUNCIL TO INSPECT
CLEVELAND AS POSSIBLE CONVENTION SITE
CLEVELAND, May 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The Democratic Leadership Council (DLC) will visit Cleveland May 17 and 18, to consider it for its spring '91 convention.
The DLC will attract 1,000 Democrats, including elected officials, civic, and corporate leaders. The DLC is charged with leading a party into the mainstream of progressive leadership. The DLC convention would also attract 150 national media members.
Cleveland is competing with St. Louis, Indianapolis, Dallas, and Los Angeles.
