SO, YES, THE FANS at KeyArena cheered with ear-ringing gusto last night when the jumbo screen showed Bret Boone cranking a first-inning homer against the Mariners' compelling rivals from Oakland.
Only a dummy doesn't understand that, in the Seattle sporting pecking order, the Mariners rule - at least until the Seahawks look as good executing their offense as they do in those new, cool blue helmets.
