Green Flag is to become the title sponsor of the British Touring Car Championship as part of a package understood to be worth nearly [pounds sterling]1m.
The sponsorship package includes title sponsorship, broadcast sponsorship of the championship's coverage on ITV, perimeter advertising and hospitality events. The 20-round series, which starts on March 30, will visit all of the UK's larger circuits as well as the Irish venue Mondello Park. The previous title sponsor was breakdown service the Automobile Association's website arm, AA.com.
