ROCHE UPDATES FDA ADVISORY COMMITTEES ON ACCUTANE PREGNANCY PREVENTION
PROGRAM AND PROPOSES ADDITIONAL STEPS
WASHINGTON, D.C., May 21, 1990 -- Hoffmann-La Roche today announced additional actions it will take to provide further assurances that physicians and their patients understand that Accutane(R) (isotretinoin/Roche) should never be taken during pregnancy.
The new elements will supplement and reinforce the unprecedented Pregnancy Prevention Program for Women on Accutane, a far-reaching program implemented by Roche to prevent pregnancy during Accutane therapy.
