Timetable
THE Queen Mother's funeral service at Westminster Abbey begins when her coffin is solemnly carried through the Great West Door at 11.30am today. But the final preparations for the service begin at dawn:
0400: Troops taking part in the procession to the Abbey reveille and begin duties, cleaning kit, grooming horses and polishing the gun carriage which will carry the coffin.
0945: The doors of Westminster Abbey are opened and the first of the 2,100-strong congregation arrive.
