United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Cleveland has joined forces with another local nonprofit, Wigs for Kids, to place about 20 clients in jobs.
The venture has been well-received on both sides, with United Cerebral Palsy's Organizational Employment division finding another source of employment for disabled adults and Westlake-based Wigs for Kids identifying a reliable supplier of workers to augment an inconsistent stream of volunteers.
``They are very hard workers, and all our needs are being met,'' said Christine Kett, executive director of Wigs for Kids, which launched the venture with United Cerebral Palsy late last year.
