PALMDALE - Close to 100 quilted, crocheted and flannel blankets will provide comfort for local children thanks to the generosity of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co. employees.
Fifteen employees joined the local chapter of Project Linus in September and created the blankets, which were donated to the Children's Center of the Antelope Valley, Antelope Valley Hospital, Antelope Valley Domestic Violence Shelter, and the Palmdale and Lancaster sheriff stations.
