PHILADELPHIA _ The dimensions of the Phillies' new ballpark will not be drastically different from those at Veterans Stadium.
That does not mean you will be reminded at all of the cookie-cutter slab of concrete the Phillies now call home.
Thanks to an asymmetrical configuration and a variation in the size of the outfield walls, the new ballpark will look and play like many of the treasured antiques that inspired the new wave of parks that began 10 years ago with Baltimore's Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
The Phillies revealed the configuration of the new ballpark Tuesday.
