AUGUSTA, Ga. _ Phil Mickelson may have never won a Masters, but he may have his best chance this week.
A long hitter with an excellent short game, he seems a good fit at redesigned Augusta National. He was a good fit at the old Augusta, where he finished sixth, seventh and third in the past three Masters.
"I think Phil's got to be salivating about his chances," Greg Norman said. "I think the changes are just perfect for a power hitting left-hander because it's a lot easier to hit a hard slice than it is to hit a hard hook. You can control your slice a lot better."
