Since his inauguration, Vicente Fox has been striving to transform his campaign words into actions, but has faced an unyielding array of internal and external challenges, not least of which was the sharp downturn in the U.S. economy--only exasperated by the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
Even so, he found time to talk to BUSINESS MEXICO about the broad political, social and economic challenges faced by his administration, as well as his recent trip to Europe, which included whistle stops in the Czech Republic, Germany, Spain and Italy.
Strengthening security and intelligence must be an extremely important concern for your administration at this time.
