The Video Software Dealers Association and the Interactive Digital Software Association say they will oppose a bill introduced in the New York State Assembly last week that would require retailers to alert customers to a possible connection between playing video-games and epileptic seizures.
The bill, sponsored by Assemblyman Thomas DiNapoli (D-Nassau County), would require stores that rent or sell games to post warning signs about the possibility of seizures and would also require warnings on all videogame packaging.
