British retail food group Tesco PLC recently announced it has selected Emerson Climate Technologies to provide energy efficiency improvement services at Tesco stores throughout the United Kingdom (U.K.). Emerson said its retail services division will install the company's Internet-based energy and equipment monitoring technology at 585 Tesco stores.
"We are very proud to have been selected by Tesco to help it achieve its business objective of reducing its operating costs through improved energy consumption practices," said Emerson retail services president Paul Wickberg.
