NEW YORK-Design is the new common denominator, cutting across income and age demographics, according to a study commissioned by Architectural Digest.
"Design is on everyone's mind," said Allison Zane, marketing director for Architectural Digest. "It goes beyond what something looks like. It's all about how it makes you feel."
The study, conducted by Strategic Surveys International, had 754 respondents ranging in age from 25 to 54. About half were Architectural Digest subscribers.
