NEW ZEALAND KIWIFRUIT ARRIVE IN UNITED STATES

SEATTLE, May 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The New Zealand Fruit Co. announces the arrival of the first kiwifruit for 1990. Completing its 14-day, 7,000-mile journey, the freighter "East Wind" arrived today at the Port of Seattle, carrying 2,314 tons of kiwifruit. New Zealand kiwifruit will be in good supply in U.S. and Canadian markets through October.
