ACTRESS Leslie Ash is known to millions as Nurse Karen Buckley in Where The Heart Is - but she recently found she was in need of medical attention herself after a dramatic car accident.
Ash was crushed between her Range Rover and a parked car as she tried to stop her family's pet dog Charlie running on to a busy road.
The 42-year-old actress explains: "I was coming back home after taking the boys back to boarding school and some friends had parked their car in our driveway, which really irritates me.
