Pacific Century CyberWorks Limited (PCCW), the integrated communications company, has announced that it has signed a framework cooperation agreement with Beijing Telecom, part of China Telecom. The agreement stipulates that both companies will jointly provide a 100% door-to-door service level commitment for international leased lines, ATM and Frame Relay services between Hong Kong and Beijing. The agreement covers the four core segments of any Hong Kong-mainland connection: municipal access in Beijing, access to the mainland telecom grid, international transmission and local access in Hong Kong.
