Countertrade continues to grow and become integrated into the way companies conduct international business. Countertrade is a useful tool in the competitive arena as well as a useful tool in minimizing financial exposure in developing countries.

What is countertrade? Countertrade is listening to the international customer's needs and helping them meet their needs. These needs could be credit deficiencies, technology updates, management expertise, world market information or hard currency shortage. Countertrade is a marketing tool-a creative marketing tool.
