There is no question that personal health, job satisfaction and family health are interrelated. Companies throughout Mississippi recognize this and provide, in many cases, on-site medical professionals or even medical facilities to their employees.
John Baas, director of industrial relations for the Mississippi Manufacturers Association, said the obvious benefit of having an on-site medical professional or medical facility is good, fast medical attention in the case of a work accident major or minor.
"Employees are so hard to find these days and you don't want to lose one through a general health issue or through a work issue," Baas said.
