Saskatchewan MP Garry Breitkreuz, Canadian Alliance gun-control critic, released, on March 18, yet another damning report on the federal government's new gun-control policies. Some 286 air guns are now considered firearms under the Criminal Code, even though the federal government has steadfastly denied any such change in policy since November 2000.
According to Mr. Breitkreuz, sources inside the RCMP advised his office in November 2000 of the change in policy under the definitions section of the code.
