Apr. 16--A few days before Valentine's Day, Easter and Mother's Day, a large tent of yellow and white stripes crops up in the parking lot of the Berkshire Mall.
From early to late, passersby can select from a sea of colorful flowers and plants transported daily from the greenhouses of Herr's Fruit Farm in Lancaster County.
Owner C. Willis Herr, a Manor Township resident, has been setting up a flower stand along State Hill Road for the past 10 years for last-minute shoppers.
