TEN YEARS ago, I caused a storm that rumbled on for months and even brought calls for me to resign as Archdeacon of York. It began on the Today radio programme with a fairly innocent question from presenter Peter Hobday.
There were growing rumours that Prince Charles was having an affair with a married woman, Camilla Parker Bowles, and I was asked if this would produce problems if Charles were to become king.
