A BABY boy was abandoned in the street in his buggy after a man and a woman were seen having a row over him, police revealed yesterday.
The scene was witnessed by a passer-by on a moped. He rode after the woman, but she refused to take the boy and fled - leaving the rider to hand the child over to police.
Last night, officers said they cannot be certain that the arguing couple were the baby's parents, prompting fears that he may have been snatched.
Two photographs were found in a bag on the three-wheeled buggy which showed a different man and woman. The infant, who has been given the name Charlie, was in the care of social services last night. ...
