Standard Horizon now offers an impressive combination of VHF radio and chartplotter technologies that allow you to talk with another boat and simultaneously see where that boat is located on your chartplotter screen. This new "polling-and-positioning" feature is available when you connect Standard's latest Intrepid+ VHF with its new CP150C color chartplotter. For this system to work to its fullest capability, the VHF radio on the other boat must have Digital Selective Calling (DSC) and it too must transmit lat/long from its GPS/radio.
