Apr. 17--ALTADENA, Calif.--The Business Technology Center in Altadena received "California's 2002 Technology and Innovation Award" Tuesday, making it among the top 12 high-tech incubators in the state.
"We're proud of the BTC," said Calvin Naito, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Community Development Commission, which owns and operates the center. "It's an example of how entrepreneurial government can be, and that's something that goes against the stereotype that many people have."
